You are right, but my budget allowed only to get a 1PV5138. I got it off ebay, second hand, almost brand new, for about $1100. So cost wise, I was biased towards the Siemens.

witch is the same at comand like elm327 but better,
I know there is OBDUINO out there but I am not looking for the same application, way simpler then the obduino.

I have just completed the first draft of a book on EVs covering theory of things like motors, controllers, batteries, ancillaries etc. I would like to use this photographs

The 1PV5138 is an asynchonous pigshit.
It has low efficiency at high power.
It is useless to drive it with 350kW.

Why don’t you use UQM PowerPhase150, a PM motor, that comes complete with it’s inverter?
Max, 150kW, 5000rpm, 650Nm.
If you order the two-ended axle version, you may use two of them, series connected.

That would be cool.
